We Don’t Choose What We are Born In To

If you are lighted skinned, ask yourself, ‘What if I’d been born dark skinned?’  If you are attractive, ask yourself, ‘What if I’d been born ugly?’  If you are tall, ask yourself, ‘What if I’d been born extremely short?’  If you are smart, ask yourself, “What if I’d been born with a learning problem?’.  If you are a man, ask yourself, “What if I’d been born a woman?”   If you were born rich, ask yourself, ‘What if I’d been born poor?’.   If you were born free, ask yourself, ‘What if I’d been born enslaved?”   Does God choose how we are born?  I don’t know.  Is the situation we are born into random?  I don’t know.  I know that if everyone respected everyone else regardless of physical and material considerations, we would live in a joyous and peaceful world.
